On Reputation and All

Hey guys, I was just noticing all the reputation things...
Why do people like Sonic God1 and Icy Wing have more rep than me?
I've been noticing people are giving out random plus votes for random posts that are at max 30 words.

So how come I only have 5 rep? What is this?
I don't think there should even be a reputation system, because for all I know, you guys don't even know how to give reputation.

@ Sonic God1: And yes, Sonic, I am aware about the + and - and that's exactly what I'm complaining about. People are randomly giving you + votes for your at max 30 word posts that are just replies to a thread. This is completely unfair.
And why didn't Albkid just make a test member for rep?

lol we got rep cuz alb was testing it and u see the + and - beside comments and posts if u hit the + ppl gain rep

something really stinks 4 me and that is that i dont see any + or - sighs next to any posts i only did once and i voted and i havent seen em sence

Also people who spam should get -...
Like if they get -1000 they get all thier post deleted.
